In the horrifying beginning of a worldwide epidemic of the undead, “The Dead Walk” follows two groups of people who join together in the struggle to survive. In a fast approaching apocalypse, Florida radio station employees Katrina (Leslie Maine) and Sheldon (Will Merklinger) are among the first to hear about and report the shocking numbers of sick who rise with a ravenous hunger for the living.
Hearing the radio broadcast, teens Megan (Ryan Clinkenbeard), Charley (Paul Ashworth), and their friends are skeptical at first…until one of their own is claimed. They band together with Katrina, “Doc” Tobias (Bjorn Jiskoot, Jr.), Gabe Corban (Joseph Lolli), and hot-tempered Greg Hudson (Chris Adler), seeking refuge in the radio station building. Chaos and tensions run high as the terrified group seeks other survivors and a way to make it to the next sunrise.

Post-Production Complete!!!
This past Thursday marked the official end of Post Production on "The Dead Walk".
RoadKill Cinema Productions' first feature film is now complete and ready for viewing.
We have already give a promotional copy to Jerry, Woody and Jim of "Fright Asylum".
We at RKCP are looking forward to seeing what the guys at "Fright Asylum" think of the film.
For those who aren't familiar with "Fright Asylum", Jerry and Woody are the hosts of the on-line Horror movie reviews.
They are known for their "no holds barred" reviews. Check them out for all past episodes on YouTube
As soon as we start to get reviews of the film in, we will post them for everyone to see.

Post-production completetion date...
This upcoming week will mark the finalization of Post-production on "The Dead Walk".
It's been a crazy 2 years during pre-production, filming and post-production, The end product is fun, entertaining, cohesive film that still has great shock value, humor, and dr...dr....dr...dread.
Then it's off to the races of trying to get domestic and international distribution as well as festival submissions.
A very busy year is ahead of us!
Please help us spread the word about the film to all your friends, family, ghouls and ghosts!!!

I'm currently typing up the end credits for "The Dead Walk". Next week we will be putting the FINAL touches on the film and getting it ready for festivals and screenings.
We are all very excited to be finalizing this long project and gearing up for the next!

ADR completion is in sight!
Bjorn Jiskoot Jr. will be stopping by our studio to work on his ADR.
After that only 3 more actors to work with and ADR will be complete!!! (2 of which are already scheduled)
Hot Damn! it's all coming together and our excitement is building.

Post Production Rolls on!
!!!Attention!!!
After many set backs and some regrouping, post production is officially in full swing again!
We have received endless questions about the release of the film, Thank you for your support and interest! While we currently don't have a date for release yet, we are targeting this summer for the premiere (more info to be posted as it becomes available).
We just acquired some new equipment that will enable us to finish the task at hand.

Happy 2009
Here's an update for the new year!!!
The second half of 2008 was very challenging to say the least. Post-Production is still moving forward and we have received MANY requests for updates.
The short version of all things happening is that everyone should expect to see "The Dead Walk" the second half of this year.
The Economic downturn everyone is seeing is just one of the forces working against us, which is forcing us to tackle post-production in a much slower fashion.
Thank you to everyone who are expressing all their support and interest in "The Dead Walk". The Film is looking great and we can't wait to share it with the world!!!

The Dead Walk
The Dead Walk news update:
Since the last update, Everyone at RKCP has diligently been working in post production. Things have been going great and the film is getting closer and closer to completion with every passing day. We have decided to film a handful of additional scenes at the end of July and early August.
We have secured the "Crystal Reel Award" winning Brevard County, Florida composer Greg Vadimsky at Tango Palace for score composition.
Many of you have been asking when The Dead Walk will be released. The short answer right now is, We don't know. With the addition of the new scenes (to be filmed) and finishing up the final edit and completing the sound, we don't have a completion date at this time. I can tell you however, that we are targeting the end of Summer or early Fall. We will be sure make a BIG announcement when the film is completed and available.
Have you been wondering where we are getting some of the music that we have been using in the trailers. Well, wonder no longer. Here is a list of the band we are working with for The Dead Walk. Victor - The Melbourne, Florida based band Diabolic Intent - You can download their entire album free at their website!!! FREE!!! Evolution Heart - A new band based out of Orlando, Florida
and LoNero - The San Jose, California based band that are the "Originators of the Instrumental Guitarcore Genre"

Scars Magazine interviews Michael and Adam
Attention Zombies and Zombettes...
RoadKill Cinema Production's very own Michael Clinkenbeard and Adam Thorvaldson will be featured in a interview for the May/June issue of Scars Magazine.
This is great news for everyone, because there is just enough time to get your subscription in before the issue hits newstands!
The guys from Scars Magazine were on hand this past Saturday in Brevard County for the hugely successful zombie scene for the upcoming feature film "The Dead Walk".
They took hundreds of photos while on set and I am told that a few pictures from the day just might make the interview!

We will be filming a BIG zombie scene in Brevard County Florida on March 22nd for the feature film "The Dead Walk"...
March 22nd (yes the day before Easter... the day before even the Bible acknowledges people rise from the grave) will be a multipurpose day for us. Agenda for the day to include filming of the BIG zombie scene, Wrap party and Corporate Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
We'll be taking over an entire county park for filming, so we need all the zombies we can get our hands on. Here's your chance to be a part of the action. If you don't want to be a zombie but would like to be involved, we could use the extra hands as PA or assistances.

PRICNIPAL PHOTOGRAHY IS NOW FINISHED!!! All that is left might be some pick ups, inserts and 2nd unit shots.
The cast and crew has been a remarkable blend of talented and enthusiastic bunch who rose above the earlier problems and set out to make something different and unique.
Let's not forget the zombies! These were a staunch bunch who sat through hours of sticky, gooey make-up and literally chewed the scenery with their actions! An amazing bunch!
"The Dead Walk" very well may break trends in the standard zombie film. Thoughtful, interesting characters. Treating zombies with respect as a modern day monster. Not to mention the underline sociology and psychological motif of the story. In short, we have something special.

The Dead Walk
As of December 30th of 2007 we started filming our first feature length film titled "The Dead Walk".
Everyday of production is a learning experience that no book could prepare you for.
We truly have an amazing Cast and Crew! Once this thing is in the can and ready for release, everyone will see what all the excitement is about.
